Applications for At-Large Members

cityhall1_thmb.jpg The Pueblo 2010 Commission often has annual openings for Community At-Large Members to serve two-year terms beginning in February. The openings are for anyone living in the Pueblo area who is neither an elected official nor a full-time employee of any local government entity. If you are interested, you may download and application form on the page that tells you how to join.

For more information, and to obtain an application form, you may also contact one of the board members. The deadline for applying is December 31, of the year before a term, however openings sometimes occur in mid-year, so applications are always welcome.

PACOG: Pueblo Development Materials

At the request of the Pueblo Area Council of Government, we are making available the texts of several major development, strategy, and planning documents on a special page. Most documents are available in both MSWord and .pdf (Adobe Acrobat) format, the latter being openable by universal software available free for use on almost any computer system.

Filling at-large Positions

As of 2009, the nominations committee will be seeking energetic, forward looking community members to fill vacant at-large membership positions. This is therefore an excellent time to send in an application ( or download in .pdf format) for someone you believe should be considered for the 2010 commission.

Healthy Communities Assessment

The Healthy Communities Task Force is making available results from a survey of its members on the status of Pueblo on major dimensions identified in the 2001 “Human Investment Plan”. Copies of a MS Word document (190K) summarize the results.

Commission Meetings

The Commission proceedings are almost always held on the second Thursday of each month and are open to the public. All interested citizenry are welcome to attend Commission meetings and join all Task Forces.
